Raw Skin emerges from an exploration of skin as surface, memory, and territory. Skin is not merely what covers us, but what preserves the traces of what we have lived through: layers of experiences, emotions, wounds, transformations, and moments that accumulate over time. In this series, matter becomes language. High relief, texture, and layers of paint construct surfaces that extend beyond the plane, creating an almost physical and organic experience. Each layer reveals and, at the same time, conceals something from the one before it—much like skin, which transforms, protects, and preserves the marks of our history.
